About

TV   •   Radio   •   Web

I’m an investigative reporter at ABC 10News in San Diego. Before moving to California, I spent over six years working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where I did local and national news reporting for the CBC on TV, web and radio. I’ve also done work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the BBC.

My reporting has been followed by international news outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post and Forbes. One of my stories once made SNL. Before joining the CBC, I cut my teeth for four years as a freelance reporter and photographer working for a number of newspapers.

I was a news nerd as a kid.

Growing up, I loved watching the news. I didn’t know why I loved it so much and felt like a bit of a loser for it. There was something about it that always stuck with me. I had to be in front of the TV every night at 6 p.m to see the fast pace, the action and the scoops. By the end of Grade 12, I had my first byline in the local weekly newspaper. That quickly turned into a full-time job and paved the way forward for where I am today.
